Yes really, that place on the Welsh borders – an annual electric bike endurance rally and much more. Enter the race, or just watch the fun.
York Cycle Show in June.
An annual event run by the CTC (now Cycling UK) with cycling displays, sales area, local rides, campsite. However it didn’t run in 2012 due to flooding, and was cancelled for 2013, so check with the Cycling UK to find out more for future years.
London Nocturne in June.
Held around Smithfield Market, London, this includes the expected road races, but begins with less obvious road racing bikes, such as the quirky ‘Cycle 2 Work’ folding cycle race with competitors (in business suits) at the starting line with their bikes folded. Another to look for is the penny farthing race.
