The Raleigh Revenio 2 road bike is a blend of technology, performance and design which creates the perfect endurance road bike featuring a 6061-T6 heat-treated Atomic 13 SL butted frameset and Shimano's Sora 9 speed groupset. The Revenio 2 is a lightweight alloy road bike, with carbon forks, that is ideal for long rides in the saddle - ideally for the enthusiast/sportive rider. The bike features Shimano's Sora 9 speed groupset and delivers good shifting and performance and built on the Atomic SL butted frameset (see below). Raleigh's new RE2P (Relaxed Ergonomic Effective Position) geometry creates a more confident, upright position that reduces body stress and fatigue to achieve an overall increase in performance. The taller head tube allows for a more upright riding position, whilst the shorter top tube reduces the reach necessary to achieve a proper extension and balance over the bike. Longer chainstays increase the wheelbase for predictable cornering and a lower bottom bracket provides a reduced centre of gravity for enhanced stability and improved handling. Taking the brunt of the tarmac punishment are a pair of Raleigh AC2 clinchers that have a pair of Schwalbe Lugano 23c tyres wrapped around them. This combination is ideal and will provide great comfort as-well-as grip. The groupset does provide reliable shifting, yet is heavier than the groupset that lye above the Sora.
