The Cycleway crosses the National Cycle Route 55 (Middlewood Way) near the Macclesfield Canal between Prestbury and Kerridge. Join route 55 (an ex-railway line) towards Wood Lanes and Higher Poynton. After Wood Lanes, look out for a car park alongside the cycle route. This is Shrigley Road. Turn right onto Shrigley Road and follow this up to an access point for Lyme Park on the left, and follow the road to the hall. Cycling is allowed along the hard roads in this country park.
