From the Cheshire Cycleway:
Where the Cycleway skirts Congleton, turn off the cycleway by either turning left from Hallgreen Lane into Trap Road (if taking the anticlockwise route around the country) or at Newsbank continue straight on into Trap Road isntead of turning right into Mill Lane (if taking the clockwise route around the county).
Follow Trap Road, crossing Messauge Lane, and continuing along the lane that eventually changes its name to Trap Street. Follow Trap Street to the B5392, then turn left onto this road (Salters Lane), then right into Long Shoot Road. This joins the A535, where you turn right, skirting the grounds of the arboretum. Take the first left turn (Bomish Lane) and continue until the entrance of Jodrell Bank Observatory on your left.
