At Nab End, to the north of Lamaload Reservoir, take Hooleyhey Lane downhill to Saltersford Hall and Jenkin Chapel, then the steep climb up to Pym Chair, where you turn left along the ridge (passing Windgather rocks on the right). At the five-lane crossroads (Fivelane-ends), take the first left that leads to Dunge Gardens.
Alternatively, take a more kindly graded but busier B road. Leave the Cycleway where it crosses the B5470 and head for Kettleshulme, where you take the lane on the right that leads to Fivelane-ends and Dunge Gardens.
