From the Cheshire Cycleway:
One way is by catching a train (hourly Mon-Sat) from Prestbury to Adlington, then turning right out of the station onto a short stretch of a main road (A523) and turning left at the crossroads into Mill Lane. The entrance is further along on the left.
The other is to follow the Middlewood Way (National Cycle Route 55) northwards. The Cycleway crosses this near the Macclesfield Canal between Prestbury and Kerridge. Continue along the Middlewood Way (an ex-railway line), passing Bollington, over the impressive viaduct, until you reach Brookledge Lane. Turn left onto this lane and follow it to the crossroads with the A523, crossing over into Mill Lane.
