Rode Hall boasts a Repton landscape of lake and woodland, plus terraced rock garden, grotto, and working kitchen garden nearer to the big house. The head gardener, Kelvin Archer, is famous within the giant gooseberry world for his champion entries.

Gardens: Apr - Sep 10, 14.00-17.00, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Also snowdrop walks 30 Jan - 7 Mar 10, 12.00-16.00, Wed-Sun.
House: Apr - Sep 09, 14.00-17.00, Wednesdays and bank holidays only.
Facilities:
Tea rooms and sales of plants and seasonal produce.
Admission fee (2010):
House and garden: adult £6, children over 12 and senior citizens £5.
Garden only: adult £4, children over 12 and senior citizens £3.
Snowdrop walks: adult £4, children over 12 and senior citizens £3.
From the Cheshire Cycleway:
Cycle here from the cycleway by taking the canal towpath eastwards from Hassall Green, or from Childs Lane near the A34 south of Congleton, take Brownlow Heath Lane southwards to Brownlow Heath, then Brook Lane leading to Chance Hall Lane. This leads to a T junction where you turn left into Church Lane and look for Rode Hall's drive on the right.
