One of the foremost botanical gardens in the country, Ness is owned by the University of Liverpool.
There's something to see all year round, and on a bad weather day, you can take refuge in the conservatory. It has a fabulous rock garden overlooking the Dee estuary, and a huge range of rhododendrons and azaleas. For those of you into roses, there's a special area dedicated to their history, showing the parents of our modern garden roses. See the map below
