One of the foremost botanical gardens in the country, Ness is owned by the University of Liverpool.


There's something to see all year round, and on a bad weather day, you can take refuge in the conservatory. It has a fabulous rock garden overlooking the Dee estuary, and a huge range of rhododendrons and azaleas. For those of you into roses, there's a special area dedicated to their history, showing the parents of our modern garden roses. See the map below

1st Feb 08 - 31st Oct 08, 10.00-17.00

1st Nov 08 - 31 Jan 09,10.00-16.30.

Closed: Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years' Day

Cafe.


Admission fee (2008):

Adult £5.75; child 5-16: £2.75 (family ticket, 2 + 3, £15.00)


From the Cheshire Cycleway:

Ness Gardens are on the cycleway route, just south of Ness itself, on the Neston Road.
