Cheshire Cycleway
Tegg's Nose Country Park
by Alec and Val Scaresbrook
This is sited at one of largest quarries in the area, eventually closed in 1955. There's a small shelter, information point, toilets and refreshment kiosk (open during busy periods) and an hour's worth of quarrying displays. Various circular walks are waymarked - give yourself at least two hours (cycling not permitted except on one steep stretch of bridleway that provides a shortcut from Tegg's Nose to Langley).
